 Uri Harel

Speaker, Founder and Director of the Center for Biblical Hebrew

URI HAREL has always been committed to discovery and teaching. Born in Haifa, Israel, Uri attended college in Buffalo, New York, where he graduated with a degree in education. After moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1977, he began what would become a life-long passion to explore and share with others the unique beauty of the Hebrew language.

Over the past 25 years, Uri has spoken, taught, and lectured in both the private and public arenas. His unique approach to teaching has earned him the respect of both his students and peers. In 1995, Uri founded the Center for Biblical Hebrew in response to the growing public demand to know more about the original text of the Bible, and the Hebrew language in which it was written. Through the programs offered by the Center, people from all backgrounds and religious denominations have been able to explore this intriguing and powerful information in an open, informal and non-critical environment.

Research is a critical element in the work of the Center for Biblical Hebrew. During the past Ten years, Uri has devoted his energies to exploring ancient Hebrew traditions about the mysteries of the Hebrew letters and the powers attributed to them. He has since put that research to work, and begun what promises to be a monumental undertaking: ‘translating’ the Hebrew letters of the biblical text into their equivalent musical tones was named the Music from God project. for more information please visit (www.MusicFromGod.com).

Secrets of The Hebrew Language

Seminar with Uri Harel

Hebrew is the path to a more intimate knowledge of the Bible's secrets and to a closer relationship with the divine word and intention. It is much more than simply another language. It is an ancient and fascinating system of concepts and ideas with rich history of meaning that goes "beyond translation."

This seminar will introduce you to a hidden understanding of "Hebrew" and will help you unlock the deeper meaning of the Scriptures.  This course will help you grasp a vast world of knowledge rooted in the very text that you have been familiar with for so long.

Discovering the method and depth of the language will revitalize your effort to study and understand the Scriptures. Learning how to recognize, read and write the 22 Hebrew letters and becoming familiar with the Hebrew vowel system will give you a powerful tool that will aid you in research, in the use of dictionaries and in the self study of the exact meaning of the original Hebrew text of the Bible.

No previous knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. This seminar was designed especially for those who always wanted to learn the basics, but never had the opportunity to do so. The goal of this course is to teach this important information objectively, in a non-denominational, unbiased, and informative environment. This course takes the linguistic rather than religious approach to help those who don't know Hebrew acquire skills necessary to appreciate the Bible in its original form.

Now, you too can learn the fundamentals of Hebrew in one day.
