Itinerary:
Day 1- Newark / Tel Aviv
(inquire about flights
from your area to Germany)
Day 2- Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport -
Tel Aviv- Jaffa- Jerusalem - Dead Sea
Drive through Tel Aviv with a short tour of Old Jaffa before we 'go up' to
Jerusalem to visit the Western Wall to give thanks for our safe flight.
We will then travel to our hotel on the Dead Sea for a Shabbat meal
and some rest.
Day 3- Shabbat at the
Dead Sea
Day of leisure at the Dead Sea, swimming, sunning and sleeping. Late
afternoon we will head for Ein Gedi (at the Dead Sea) for the Feast of
Tabernacles Desert Celebration with the International Christian Embassy
Jerusalem. Overnight again at the Dead Sea.
Day
4- Massada- Qumran- Jerusalem
Our day will begin with a cable car trip to Massada,
then up to Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. On to the Wilderness
Tabernacle, a replica of the Tabernacle of Moses in the desert near
Jericho. On the way up to Jerusalem we will visit Abraham for a late lunch
in 'Genesis Land'.
Abraham is waiting for you in his tent at Eretz Breishit - Here you can ride a
camel, write in ancient Hebrew script, bake pita. We then return to
our Jerusalem hotel for dinner and prepare for the opening night of the
Feast of Tabernacles. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 5- Jerusalem
Full day of sightseeing and prayer in Jerusalem, exploring our Christian
Heritage and it’s Jewish roots. Mount of Olives, Kidron Valley, Garden of
Gethsemene. Continue to the Old City, within the wall, the Via
Delorosa, Pools
of Bethesda, Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Next to the Temple Mount and the
Southern Temple staircase. We will
visit the Western Wall, a sacred site for the Jewish people, and view the Mosque
of Omar. Proceeding on to the reconstructed Jewish Quarter we will
visit the
Ancient Cardo Maximo, the Temple Institute where the articles of the
temple are being recreated for use in the third Temple when restored. Western Wall tunnels
(Hasmonean). Lunch will
be on your own. We will have time to shop in the Cardo as well as the Arab Shuk
before we head back to our hotelfor dinner and to prepare for the Feast
Celebration. Overnight
in Jerusalem.
Day 6- Samaria
Our first stop is Shiloh, the capital of ancient Israel for
369 years and the place where the Ark of the Covenant rested. We will proceed to Mount
Gerezim and Mount Ebal, the mountains of blessing and cursing and then on up to Elon Moreh where Abraham first stopped
when he entered the Land. We may even meet some of the residents of these
historic settlements. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and evening Feast
Celebration.
Day
7-Jerusalem
Start the day with a visit to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum.
Down to Ein Kerem where John the Baptist was born for a visit to the Biblical
Resource Garden and a Biblical meal. The Jerusalem March will be in
the afternoon. Back to the hotel for dinner and Feast Celebration.
Day 8- Hebron
- Jerusalem
Today we will head south into Judea. The Kfar Etzion sound and
light show will give you a picture of the price the Jews have paid to hold on to
their land. Driving past Bethelem, down the path taken by Abraham
to the burial place of the patriarchs in Hebron and the Cave of Machpelah as
well as the first capital of King David. We will meet some residents of
the old city of Hebron and walk to the ancient neighborhoods and
museum. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and the Feast Celebration.
Day 9-
Jerusalem
Today is Hosanna Rabba, at the Western wall.We will do additional
touring in the Old City ending our day with a Shabbat Meal and final evening of
the Feast, a Sukkah party at Ramat Rachel overlooking Bethlehem.
Day 10- Shabbat -
Jerusalem
No touring today. We can walk to the Western Wall. Today is
Simchat Torah, the Joy of the Torah and we will enjoy experiencing this
wonderful Biblical celebration in the Old City.
Day 11 - to
Galilee
Head east to the Jordan Valley and Beit She’an, one of the earliest and most
important cities in Israel from the time of the Canaanites. and visit the baptismal site of
Yardinit. (All who want to be
baptized in the Jordan need to be prepared with a change of clothes). After a
boat ride across the Galilee we look back in time to Jesus, as He
walked and taught in the Galilee. We will visit Safed, Capernaum, and spend time on the
Mount of Beatitudes. we will have a lunch of St. Peter’s fish n and enjoy the multi-media presentation as well as shopping at
"The Galilee Experience". Overnight in the Galilee
Day 12-Tel Aviv (or
Eilat)
Today we will see Nazareth, Cana, and the Jezreel Valley on the
way to Mt. Carmel where Elijah met with the prophets of Ba'al. We will
enjoy Caesarea and the lovely Mediterranean Sea on the way
to Tel Aviv to visit the Diaspora Museum and on to our farewell
dinner. Some will stay on in Tel Aviv to depart for the US in the morning,
others will depart by air to Eilat for a sun, sea, and Petra visit.
Eilat is the favorite of vacationers from all over the European continent
and is well known for it's great scuba diving and colorful fish and coral.
Day 13- -Ben Gurion
Airport to depart for USA
Optional Extension:
Day 12 fly to Eilat. for 2

Day 13 - Drive through Aqaba
in Jordan to Petra for tour.
Day 14 - Free day to shop or
play. Late afternoon flight to return to Tel Aviv for flight in the AM to the US

Day 1- Newark / Tel Aviv

Day 3- Shabbat
Day at Leisure in Jerusalem We can walk to the Old City, pray at the Western

Day
4- Jerusalem
Our Tour Guide will join us today and we will start our touring in the Old City
of Jerusalem with the Temple Mount and the Southern Temple staircase. We will
visit the Western Wall, a sacred site for the Jewish people, and view the Mosque

Day 5- Jerusalem- Ariel
Full day of sightseeing and prayer in Jerusalem, exploring our Christian
Heritage and it’s Jewish roots. Mount of Olives, Kidron Valley, Garden of
Gethsemene, Golgatha and time for prayer, worship and communion at the empty
Garden Tomb. Continue to the Old City, within the wall, the Via Delorosa, Pools
of Bethesda, Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will exit through the Arab Shuk
and Jaffa Gate. If the timing works out we can enjoy a great falafel before we
leave for Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. We will finish the day at the
Biblical Scripture Garden in Ein Kerem with a Biblical dinner. Overnight in
Ariel
Day 6- Samaria
Our Biblical tour begins today in the region of Ephraim and Benjamin. Our first
stop is Samaria / Sebastia, biblical capital of King Omri, King Ahab and
Jezebel. Samaria was rebuilt and renamed Sebastia by King Herod. Sebastia was
where Philip, Peter and John preached. From Sebastia, we will proceed to Mount
Gerzim where we will meet some of the Samaritans and hear about their history
and see their altar. Then it’s on to Elon Moreh where Abraham first stopped
when he entered the Land. We’ll meet with some of the residents of this
historic settlement. Our next stop is Shiloh, the capital of ancient Israel for
369 years. Our tour guide has been the Mayor of Shiloh for many years and will
give us his best insight into the place where the Ark of the Covenant rested.
Return to our hotel in Ariel for dinner and a meeting with officials and
entertainment.

Day
7- Jordan Valley - Galilee
Head east to the Jordan Valley and Beit She’an, one of the earliest and most
important cities in Israel from the time of the Canaanites. Today we will see
the well-preserved archeological site of Megiddo (the biblical Armageddon),
Nazareth, Cana and visit the baptismal site of Yardinit. (All who want to be
baptized in the Jordan need to be prepared with a change of clothes). After a
boat ride across the Galilee we will have a dinner of St. Peter’s fish near
Capernaum and enjoy the multi-media presentation as well as shopping at
"The Galilee Experience". Overnight in a kibbutz.
Day 8- Galilee - Golan
Today we are looking at Israel, past, present and future. Stopping at Gamla Park
and the restored ancient village at Katzrin in the Golan we will watch a sound
and light show explaining the region. Now we look back in time to Jesus, as He
walked and taught in the Galilee. We will visit Capernaum, and spend time on the
Mount of Beatitudes. Dinner & overnight in Kibbutz, meeting with Kibbutz
members.
Day 9 -Jordan Valley
Abraham is waiting for you in his tent at Eretz Breishit - Here you can ride a
camel, write in ancient Hebrew script, bake pita. Jericho is next seeing
Zacchaeus' tree, Elisha's spring, and riding the new cable car to the Mount of
the Temptation. Moses Tabernacle in the Wilderness replica will be a
very special experience for all. after stopping at Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found.
(Great shopping here) then on to Kibbutz Ein Gedi to prepare for Shabbat. We
will tour the kibbutz. Dinner and overnight in Kibbutz.
Day 10- Dead Sea
Day of leisure at a Kibbutz near Ein Gedi We can walk in the famed Ein Gedi
Nature Reserve
Swim/float in the Dead Sea or just rest. Dinner and overnight in Kibbutz.
Day 11- Massada -Hebron-Jaffa -Ben Gurion
Airport
Our last day will begin with a cable car ride to Massada. Traversing around
through Arad we will stop at the ancient village of Sussyia on our way to Hebron
- Cave of the Patriarchs, where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were buried. We will
spend some time with residents of the Old City of Hebron. We will then pass by
Bethlehem on our way back to Jerusalem for last minute shopping. Early evening
we will head west to Jaffa for our farewell dinner and a resting place to
prepare for the trip home. We have a late night departure for the states.
